During the 1973 oil crisis there was a need for an alternative system to petrol. Alongside the gasoline, the diesel system continued to assert itself, while at a later date emerged the motorized car, the alcohol one and the gas one (GPL). There was also the advent of the hybrid car, powered either by petrol or by gas or electricity.
